Sara Abrams
Sara Abrams is a 3rd Grade teacher. Sara graduated with a Bachelor’s in Education in 2001 from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, and holds a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from ASU. She moved to Arizona eight years ago from south Florida. In her first year in Arizona Sara worked for the JCC in Scottsdale, where she started the current Drama program. Since leaving the JCC, Sara has taught in grades 2-4 for the past eight years. This is her fourth year at Pardes Jewish Day School and her ninth year of teaching.

Rabbi Pinchas Allouche
Rabbi Pinchas G. Allouche is the Spiritual Leader of Congregation Beth Tefillah in Scottsdale, AZ. He is a well-recognized rabbinic figure and a sought-after lecturer and author of many essays and writings on the Jewish faith, mysticism, and social analysis. Rabbi Allouche was born in Toulouse, France and grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa and Jerusalem, Israel. His travels have also taken him to Geneva, Switzerland where he provided Jewish Learning Opportunities and activities to adults and youth alike, and to Milano, Italy where he received his rabbinic ordination. From 1999 until present, Rabbi Allouche has served as a teacher and educator for elementary, middle and high school, in many educational institutions including the Mekor Chaim School in Jerusalem, the Jerusalem Seminaries for young Jewish Women, "Torat Chesed" and "Tikva", and most recently in Scottsdale’s Jess Schwartz Day School. From 2002-2006, Rabbi Allouche also served as a Rabbi, Youth & Programming Director in Congregation Beth Tefillah of Atlanta, GA. Rabbi Allouche is fluent in English, Hebrew, French and Italian. Rabbi Allouche will teach Jewish history to the 8th grade one day a week, and periodically lead T’fillah.

Cantor Shira Batalion is excited to begin teaching music at Pardes. She was invested as a cantor through the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in 2005. Cantor Batalion is currently the Rabbi/Cantor of Congregation Beth Hagivot in Fountain Hills, AZ. She recently moved to Mesa from Atlanta after spending four months as part of the American Jewish World Service Volunteer Corp in Kitale, Kenya working with a grassroots organization that teaches sustainable agriculture. She previously worked as the Spiritual Leader (Kol Bo) of Temple B’nai Abraham in Bordentown, NJ, as the Education Director for Congregation Bet Haverim, in Atlanta, Cantor Batalion is currently pursuing a degree in Holistic Health, and also works with a local organic farm in a community supported agriculture program. She recently joined the Board of Directors of the Jewish Multiracial Network, an organization that advances Jewish diversity through empowerment and community building with Jews of Color and multiracial Jewish families. Cantor Batalion also published essays in Torah Aura’s book, God: Jewish Choices for Struggling with the Ultimate, and collaborated with author Debra Jill Mazer to publish the Open Eyed Heart Wide Haggadah.

Lisa Berk
This is Coach Lisa's second year teaching lower school Physical Education at Padres. Last year she taught kindergarten and first grade. This year she will be teaching kindergarten through third grade. Coach Lisa has been working in the health and fitness industry for the past six years. Her two daughters attend Pardes and she has been a proud parent at the school for the past four years. With her background in health and fitness she brings wonderful creative ideas to P.E. classes. Coach Lisa's philosophy is to get our children moving and having great time learning about sports and health.

Melinda Berko
This is Melinda Berko’s first year teaching fourth grade at Pardes. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stetson University in Deland, Florida and her post baccalaureate in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. Mrs. Berko has spent the past eleven years teaching fourth grade at the Jess Schwartz /King David School where she also assisted in the resource room. Prior to teaching fourth grade she was an Instructional Designer and Instructor for American Express in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Elaine Chapman
A native Californian, Mrs. Elaine Chapman received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley. She has been teaching lower elementary school for 40 years. She began her career teaching in the public school in Culver City. After moving to Sacramento, Mrs. Chapman taught for 17 years at Shalom School before joining the faculty at Pardes, in 1999. She was named in Who's Who in Teaching in 1996, was Walmart Teacher of the Year in 2001, and in 2006 received the Grinspoon-Steinhardt Award for Excellence in Jewish Education, which enabled her to study in Israel. Mrs. Chapman and her husband have 2 grown children.

Christine DeSiato
Christine DeSiato received her B.S. from the University of Maryland - European Division, and her M.S. from NOVA University. She has been teaching at the junior high/high school level for 20+ years in the areas of math and science. Before coming to Pardes, Christine taught in the Peoria Unified School District for 17 years, and for one year for MCSO - Juvenile Division. This is her second year teaching science to the 6th, 7th and 8th grades at Pardes.

Jennifer Eckstein
Jennifer Eckstein is enjoying her fourth year at Pardes and is thrilled to be teaching 3rd grade. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Chapman University in Orange, CA. After graduating, she spent two years as an AmeriCorps member working at Jewish Family and Children's Service. She then went to work for the Center Against Sexual Abuse where she worked in classrooms talking to children in grades kindergarten through sixth. She decided that she loved being in the classroom and went back to school for her Post Grad in Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. Ms. Eckstein has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade in both public and private schools and is currently in her tenth year of teaching.

Orit Feinberg, art teacher, is loving her 10th year at Pardes. She teaches art to Pardes students from K-8th grade. Orit grew up in Israel and earned her degree in Graphic design in Israel. Before coming to Pardes, she taught at a Montessori Jewish school in Palm Springs, CA, for six years. Orit is trained in different art media, including clay, printing, sketching, acrylic, water color, mosaic, and collage. She also teaches art history. If you walk around the school you will enjoy the beautiful tiles, murals, and mobiles that she has made with her students. Orit is married to Mark and has two children, a daughter and a son.

Gayle Feldman
Gayle Feldman has loved teaching at Pardes since the year 2000. She has been an Early Childhood Educator for over 30 years both in the Public Schools and Jewish Education. Gayle graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with Early Childhood certification and received her Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois in Curriculum and Instruction. She is the recipient of the Early Childhood Fellowship Award from National Louis College of Education in Chicago and the Greenspoon- Steinhardt National Award for Jewish Education. Gayle, with her husband Ira, raised their 3 sons in the Chicago suburbs. Their sons are married and are raising their children here in Scottsdale.

Reesa Fern
Reesa Fern, a native upstate New Yorker, has called Arizona home for the past 16 years. Reesa received her Bachelor of Arts in history/philosophy and Spanish from Binghamton University, her Master’s Degree in teaching from Union College and has an endorsement in Structured English Immersion, K-12. She has taught Social Studies, Spanish and Psychology at the junior high/high school levels for 13 years and this her third year teaching 5th-8th grade at Pardes.

Nicole Garber
This is Nicole Garber's third year teaching at Pardes. Nicole grew up in Scottsdale and then went to the University of Michigan, where she earned a B.A. in Sports Management and Communications. After graduating, she went on to work at the National Basketball Association in the Community Relations Department, where she worked closely with schools and community groups across the country. She decided she wanted to work more closely with children and went back to school to get her Master’s in Childhood Education at Hunter College. She spent six years teaching at Rodeph Sholom School in Manhattan where she taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. She also spent one year teaching Kindergarten at P.S. 6. She is thrilled to be back living and working in Arizona, with her husband Brian and 3-year old son Ethan.

Judith Gottlieb
Judith (Yehudit) Gottlieb has spent her entire professional life, 29 years, as a Special Education teacher. Born and raised in Israel and following her military service, Yehudit focused on Special Education as her career choice and received her State of Israel teaching certification. Subsequently, she joined the teaching staffs of two prestigious institutions: the Psychiatric Hospital at Nes Ziona, and then Etanim State Psychiatric Hospital near Jerusalem. In 1981, Yehudit and family moved to Toronto, Ontario, where she joined the staff as Remedial Teacher at a truly cutting-edge institution, Thera Studies-Muki Baum Treatment Center for the Multi-Handicapped. Her husband Bob worked as PR Director for the Toronto Jewish Federation-United Jewish Appeal. Upon retiring in l991, the Gottliebs moved to Scottsdale, where Yehudit became a volunteer and substitute teacher, first at Solomon Schechter Day School, and then at Pardes. Yehudit is now in her fourth year at Pardes as Resource Hebrew Teacher for grades 3 to 7. She has a married son and two grandchildren living in Florida.

Avital Gross
Avital Gross, also known as Morah Tali, has been teaching at Pardes for the past eight years and still loves it. Recently she was trained in the Hebrew program of Tal-Am. This program encourages the continuation of self-improvement and growth which is implemented in the classroom. Currently she is teaching immersion in the Hebrew language to 1st and 2nd grades. Avital grew up in Israel and served in the Israeli army. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Hebrew and Comparative Literature and in Fine Art at Haifa University. Her continued education, knowledge, and passion in the areas of Art, Dance, spiritual psychology and Kabala enhance her communication skills in and outside the classroom. Before coming to Phoenix Avital lived and taught Hebrew in Pittsburgh for eight years. She and her husband Stuart have three girls. One of them graduated last year and one is still enjoying the excellent academics of Pardes.

Jody Hanover
Mrs. Hanover is born and raised in Southern California. She graduated California State Long Beach with a BA in Consumer Sciences. She went to work in national sales for California manufacturer. She married her husband and they then moved to Washington DC for the next 3 years. They had 2 sons and decided they wanted to move back to the west coast and settled in Arizona. She returned to school receiving her 1-8 teaching certificate in 2009 and a CTE certificate in Consumer Sciences’. She has worked in the PVUSD since 2009. Additionally, she is recognized by the state of Arizona as highly qualified in Special Education and is a member of Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented. This year she had started teaching 5th grade religious school at Temple Beth Israel. In her spare time she enjoys time with her family in the outdoors and reading.

Rabbi Elana Kanter serves as Judaic Curriculum Consultant. Rabbi Kanter received her BA in English Literature from Barnard College in 1982. She was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America in 1989, where she was part of its first class of women. Rabbi Kanter has served as a teacher and administrator in day schools in New York, Atlanta, Providence, Birmingham and Phoenix. In 1998, Rabbi Kanter received the Covenant Award for Exceptional Jewish Educators. In the fall of 2010, Rabbi Kanter founded the Women's Jewish Learning Center, an independent Jewish educational institute for women in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Rabbi Kanter also serves as co-Rabbi of The New Shul.

Lisa Keller
Lisa Keller has been teaching at Pardes since 2006. She has a Master’s degree in Jewish education from the American Jewish University, a Master's in human development from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a BA in psychology from Maryland as well. Following college, she lived in Israel, studying at Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies and volunteered on Project Otzma. Lisa teaches Jewish studies to 3rd through 5th grades, and coordinates the Judaic curriculum.

Rina Kenton
Rina Kenton is in her eleventh year at Pardes. Rina teaches Language Arts to grade 8 and Social Studies to grade 7. As Curriculum and Instruction Specialist for the middle school she is also part of the Leadership Team, and works with teachers across many subject areas to develop curriculum, support teaching and learning, and increase continuity across the middle school. In addition, she works with students and families on the transfer to high school. Leading the annual 8th grade week in Washington, DC and producing the middle school play every two years also keeps Rina busy! Rina grew up in England and received her BA Hons in English at the University of Lancaster. Her post-graduate certification in teaching English and Drama came from St. Martin’s College. Initially a high school teacher of English and Drama, Rina taught in London for many years, before moving to Arizona with her family in 1999. Rina is also a proud graduate of ASU, receiving a Master's degree in Liberal Studies in December 2010. Rina is married and has two wonderful children.

Lauren Kreisberger
Lauren Kreisberger joined the Pardes community two years ago as a Kindergarten teacher. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education with a concentration in Jewish Studies from Arizona State University. She received her Master’s degree in Reading from Adelphi University in New York. Lauren taught in the New York City public school system for nine years while working with the Columbia Teacher’s College Reading and Writing Project, where she continues to attend their annual summer institute. She and her husband Simon have three boys, Eli (9), Ben (6), and Ari (3).

Kyoko Krumwiede
Kyoko Krumwiede is excited to be back at Pardes this year as a full-time math teacher. Prior to teaching high school math at Jess Schwartz Academy, she taught middle school math and science at Pardes from 2000 to 2007. Mrs. Krumwiede, born and raised in Tokyo, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education and her teaching certification from Tokyo Gakugei University. She holds Arizona State Elementary and Secondary Certifications with an emphasis in mathematics. Mrs. Krumwiede has spent the last 15 years in education, teaching a variety of grade levels from pre-K through 12th grade in addition to teaching the Japanese language.

Kimberly Nadler
Kimberly Nadler is excited to be a new member of the Pardes family. Mrs. Nadler received her Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish from the University of Minnesota and her teaching certification from Augsburg College in Minnesota. Additionally, she received her Master's degree in Elementary Education; Curriculum and Instruction from San Diego State University. Mrs. Nadler has spent the last 15 years teaching grades kindergarten through 3rd grade. Most recently, she taught kindergarten and 1st grade at Phoenix Country Day School.

Errol Rafal
Errol Rafal is in his first year of teaching Middle School Math and Science at Pardes. Before he became a teacher, he worked for over 25 years in Corporate America and was ready for a change in profession. Not only has teaching become a second career for him, but a fulfillment of a life-long passion. He came to Pardes after some years at Jess Schwartz Academy and in the Paradise Valley Unified School District IB program. His degrees include: a) BS from James Madison University in Analytical Chemistry; b) MPH from The University of Michigan in Population Planning; c) MA from The University of Pennsylvania in Family Sociology; d) MA from The University of Pennsylvania in Statistics; and e) MA from University of Phoenix in Secondary Education. He is married and has two children.

Ronit Rogov-Malinovitz
Ronit Rogov-Malinovitz will start teaching Hebrew to our Kindergarteners this year at Pardes. Mrs. Malinovitz has only recently moved to Arizona from New York City. She graduated the New York Graduate School of Psychoanalysis with a Master’s degree in Psychoanalysis and she holds a combined Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Tel Aviv University. Mrs. Malinovitz has been a teacher for over two decades, and she has experience with various grade levels and various school settings. While in New York she was the Hebrew and Judaic Studies teacher at Hannah Senesh Community Day School for several years, and she taught Hebrew at several afterschool programs. Ms. Malinovitz is a passionate educator who began her training and her path in this profession as an Education Officer in the Israeli Defense Forces.

Rabbi Tracee Rosen
Rabbi Tracee Rosen is excited to be teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade Judaic Studies this year. She is originally from Denver, Colorado. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Jewish Studies and an MBA in accounting and information systems from Washington University in St. Louis. After a 13 year career in banking, she returned to her original love of Judaism and completed rabbinical school at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, CA. After serving in pulpits in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, Utah, she relocated to Phoenix in 2010. She is currently serving as the rabbi of Temple Gan Elohim in Glendale, and teaching in the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School for the Bureau of Jewish Education. She is the author of a number of articles, ranging from the concept of mitzvot in Biblical times, to a chapter on Jewish laws of lending and interest to be published later this year. Rabbi Tracee and her life partner, Keren Goldberg have one daughter.

Sherry Saper
Sherry Saper, fifth grade homeroom teacher, is thrilled to be a part of the Pardes middle school team after teaching fifth through eighth grades at JSA/King David for the past twenty years. She earned her BA in Elementary Education at Arizona State University and holds a Formative Assessment New Teacher Mentor Training Certificate from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Saper has held the positions of Middle School Coordinator and Programs and Events Coordinator at her former school. Her passion for theater and music has inspired her to write and direct school musicals for Jewish holidays and celebrations. Mrs. Saper and her husband have three grown sons.

Holli Scharf
Holli Scharf is thrilled to be beginning her second year as a Kindergarten teacher at Pardes School Jewish Day School. Holli received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Marketing from Northeastern University located in Boston, MA. After an earlier career as a Retail Executive, then staying at home to raise her children; Holli recently earned her California Teaching Credentials in both Special Education in Mild to Moderate Disabilities and Multiple Subjects K-6. Holli and her husband Ed have two children Kaylah age 13 and Harris age 11.

Rachel Schneider
A native of New Jersey, Rachel recently moved to Phoenix after spending the last five years in Dallas, Texas where she taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Language Arts at Akiba Academy. Mrs. Schneider has a Bachelor's Degree in Literature with a concentration in Secondary Education from Ramapo College of New Jersey, a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master’s Degree in Jewish Communal Service from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion. Rachel will be teaching 7th grade Language Arts. She is the proud mother of Ezra and Micah and wife to Rabbi Jeremy Schneider of Temple Kol Ami. She is thrilled to become a part of the Pardes community.

Betsy Silber
Betsy Silber has been teaching in Jewish Day Schools for over 25 years. She is thrilled to now be part of the Pardes team. Betsy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from The American University in Washington D.C. Her daughter Allie is residing in Santa Fe teaching environmental education to elementary age students. Her youngest, Lauren, is a junior studying business and international studies at her alma mater. Betsy lives with her husband Gary and her two dogs Pepper and Macy. When she isn’t working, Betsy loves to read, hike, knit, and play Mah Jongg.

Bethany Spector
Bethany Spector is enjoying her seventh year teaching 4th grade at Pardes Jewish Day School. Mrs. Spector graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Additionally, she earned her Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to teaching at Pardes, she taught 5th and 6th grades at Milestones School in Phoenix, and 6th grade language arts at Roberto Clemente Middle School in Montgomery County, Maryland. Bethany and her husband Jay are the proud parents of two young children. Their daughter is having a wonderful experience as a second grader at Pardes.

Nicole Stokes
Nicole Stokes is in her third year of teaching 1st grade at Pardes. Mrs. Stokes received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from SUNY at Fredonia, and her NYS teaching certification. She has spent the last 13 years in education, teaching a variety of grade levels from pre-K through 6th grade. Additionally, she spent three years as an Early Childhood Coordinator. Mrs. Stokes has begun work on her Master's Degree in Education, with an emphasis on reading, at Northern Arizona University. In addition to teaching 1st Grade at Pardes, she is Co-Chair of the Hineini Committee and Coach of the Pardes Dance and Pom Squads.

Lezlie Strolle
Lezlie Strolle, 5th grade homeroom teacher, is in her second year teaching in the middle school at Pardes. She is currently teaching 5th grade language arts, science, and Math 2. This is her 22nd year of teaching. Mrs. Strolle received her teaching credential from Michigan State University and her MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Jennifer Traulsen
Jennifer Traulsen will be teaching 2nd grade at Pardes. She brings over 20 consecutive years of Jewish Day School teaching experience to Pardes. Over the years, Jen has taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade as well as held various positions in the administration. Jen is a native of Phoenix and attended Madison Simis Elementary and Central High here in the valley. She holds a Psychology degree from the UofA, an Elementary Teaching degree from ASU, and a Masters in Leadership Education from NAU! Jen is also the proud mother of two wonderful children. Her son, Josh (22), attends ASU and her daughter, Jordan (20), just graduated from The Scottsdale Culinary Institute as a chef. Since 1980, Jen has volunteered for Camp SWIFT - a camp for economically disadvantaged children. She is also involved with Camp HONOR and My Nana’s Salsa Challenge (since 1998) - programs for children with Hemophilia (and other bleeding disorders), HIV and AIDS.
Bonnie Verne
Bonnie Verne is one of our 2nd grade teachers and is in her seventh year at Pardes. She began her career with us as Elaine Chapman’s (3rd grade) student teacher in 2004. She coached volleyball and softball from 2008-2010 and now enjoys facilitating the after school cooking enrichment class. Bonnie was the yearbook advisor for the school from 2005-2009, mentoring middle school students and facilitating the annual book of memories for Pardes. Bonnie grew up in Southern California and played varsity softball for her high school. She attended Cal. State University, Northridge and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Bonnie relocated to Arizona in 2003 and returned to school, earning a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix in 2005. Both of her children attended Pardes for several years.
Yona Weitzner
Yona Weitzner has been teaching Hebrew language and Judaic studies to a variety of grade levels, K to 5 from beginners to advanced Hebrew. Additionally, she was leading teffelot services with students every day, Kabbalaht Shabbat, and holidays as well as conducting a children's choir in Hebrew that performed all over the valley. Yona Weitzner received her Hebrew and Judaic education at Bar Illan Israel as well as The Medrasha Lmorim for elementary studies Teachers College of Toronto Canada. She also received a degree in Music playing the Accordion from Lilenbloum conservatory of Tel Aviv. Yona completed all Tal Am training seminars and workshops, and is a master teacher in the Tal Am curriculum. Yona is excited to be on the faculty at Pardes Jewish Day School and is looking forward to a successful year.
Marilyn Wessel
Marilyn Wessel is a native of Phoenix, Arizona and has returned to join the Pardes team as a first grade teacher. She graduated from Arizona State University and has spent the last 22 years in Park City, Utah where she was a reading specialist before she discovered the joy of first graders. Teaching beginning readers and writers is her passion. Outside of the classroom she loves hiking, gardening, bird watching, tennis and spending time with family and friends.
Jason Zaks
Jason Zaks, our Technology teacher, is enjoying his fourth year at Pardes Jewish Day School. Mr. Zaks teaches technology to all students in kindergarten through 8th grades. takes photographs and videos for use in school publications. Jason grew up in Michigan and attended James Madison College, Michigan State University, where he earned Bachelor’s degrees in Social Relations and Political Science. He earned his Elementary Teaching Certificate at Madonna University (Michigan). Before coming to Pardes, Jason taught in the Alhambra School District (Phoenix). Mr. Zaks and his wife Stefanie are enjoying their fifth year living in Arizona and have a beautiful daughter.
Derek Zappa
Derek Zappa grew up in Golden, Colorado. He participated in youth sports such as junior golf, swimming, baseball, tennis, and soccer. He continued to participate in team sports throughout his academic career. While attending Northern Arizona University he received his degree in education with an emphasis in physical education. He continued to participate on the field and off while playing organized sports and helping others, such as the participants of The Special Olympics. Derek also represented his fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha, with the NAU Recreation Center in helping organize the fraternity intramural each year of his attendance. He taught physical education for kindergarten through eighth grade at The TesseracT School in Paradise Valley. In 2000, Derek established the organized sports program at TesseracT and was an active member the Mountain Valley Athletic League. While directing athletics, Derek obtained his license in real estate to pursue land development and home renovation. Derek has also taught P.E. at Zuni Elementary School in the Scottsdale Unified School District. He coached a variety of team sports at Phoenix Country Day School and also taught on the Leupp Reservation in Flagstaff in a multiage classroom. Coach Zappa has a strong passion for athletics, team building, and heath education. He always enjoys learning new ideas and concepts that he can incorporate into lessons and objectives for his physical education program. Derek is dedicated to fostering both sportsmanship and a healthy competitive spirit for each young athlete who participate in his classroom and teams. Derek is married to his wife Emily, and they have two beautiful children, Jackson and Maya.
Anat Zonshine
Morah Anat was born and raised in Israel and served in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). She earned her Bachelor’s degree from The College of Management Academic Studies In Tel Aviv. In 2001 Anat moved to New York with her husband, where she taught Hebrew, Torah, and history in elementary and middle schools for over 9 years. She taught in afternoon programs as well as in a Jewish day school WFHA in Connecticut. She has been trained in a variety of Hebrew and Bible programs as Tal-Am, Chaverim b'ivrit and Matok. September 2010 Anat joined Pardes and she teaches middle school and 4th grade advanced Hebrew. She's the proud mom of three children, two of them Pardes students.
Lois Zuckerman
Lois Zuckerman continues to enjoy teaching Kindergarten. This is her fourth year at Pardes. Before coming to Pardes, Lois taught 12 years of Kindergarten at the Valley of the Sun J.C.C. Preschool, as well as working as a Pre-K teacher and assistant for five years at the J.C.C. Before becoming a classroom teacher, Lois was a music specialist at Beth-El Preschool for eight years and worked as a music specialist at Temple Solel Hebrew School for four years and at secular preschools for four years. Lois grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. She attended Penn State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Lois has lived in Phoenix for 31 years along with her husband, who is an educator as well. She has three grown children.
