Growing Beyond Boundaries
Growth at Pardes has been dramatic since the very beginning. Early and ongoing increases in enrollment led to a series of moves - from its original site at Temple Solel to synagogue to synagogue, expanding at one point into a split campus.
Pardes has become one of the fastest growing Jewish day schools in the Valley. Its reputation for academic excellence and its close supportive community continue attracting young parents. After years of trying to make various situations work for students and teachers, the School found a permanent home in 2006. The Pardes Board voted to acquire a beautiful 5-acre 21-classroom former school campus. After renovation, Pardes opened its doors, welcoming students to a spacious, bright, expansive facility created for teaching and designed for children.
A Home of Our Own
Today Pardes is not just growing. In its new setting it is thriving serving a record 250 students this year. They benefit from an expansive campus, a designated Sanctuary, athletic field, kosher kitchen, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor learning and more.
Every such facility, however, comes with a cost. Paying for the campus will require the support of all those Pardes reaches and serves - parents, grandparents, former parents and the Jewish community at large.
Campaign for the Campus
The Pardes Board and staff are in the planning stage of the School's first Capital Campaign. Campaign leadership is being sought. A steering committee is being formed. Grant support is being solicited. A promotional plan is in the works. There is much to do, but all the right elements are in place.
A Place for Our Children: A Place for the Future
As part of our stakeholders' community, you will be regularly updated on Campaign progress. During the school year we will also post information in our weekly electronic newsletter.
We encourage parents, grandparents, alumni parents, community members and friends of Pardes to make an early investment in this permanent home that so beautifully reflects the welcoming, inclusive, progressive, values fostered inside.
