We are pleased to announce, the 2nd Annual Panther Classic, which will be held on, Sunday, November 13, 2011 beginning at 8:30 AM, at Pardes Jewish Day School. The Panther classic is a school-wide fund raising program sponsored by the Pardes Athletic Department. The panther Classic is a valuable program that promotes physical activity and healthy living. The optimal time when children should establish a strong foundation for an active lifestyle is during adolescence. These are also the years when positive learning experiences can help establish a positive attitude and appreciation for daily physical activity.
The goal of the Panther Classic's is to have our students participate in a fun, family-oriented event that is structured for the promotion of healthy living. Healthy lifestyles can help prevent heart disease and stroke. Good nutrition, physical activity, maintaining a healthy blood pressure, and weight are all part of a healthy lifestyle. The Panther Classic is designed to help communicate to our children that exercise is fun and rewarding throughout all facets of life.
