Yehudit Gottlieb has spent over thirty years as educator. Born and raised in Israel, she served in the Israeli Defense Forces. Following her military service, Morah Yehudit focused on special education as her career choice. She graduated from a teaching college at Hadasim and received her State of Israel teaching certification. Subsequently, she joined the teaching staffs of two prestigious institutions:The Psychiatric Hospital at Nes Ziona and then Etanim State Psychiatric Hospital near Jerusalem. In 1981 Morah Yehudit and family moved to Toronto, Canada where she joined the staff as a teacher at a truly cutting-edge institution, the Thera Studies-Muki Baum Treatment Center for the Multi-Handicapped. In 1991, she moved to Arizona where she became a volunteer and substitute teacher first at Solomon Schechter Day School and then Pardes. This is her eleventh year teaching Hebrew at Pardes, where she has worked with students from second through eighth grade.
