In which grade did you begin at Pardes?
I have been at Pardes since Kindergarten.
What do you love most about Pardes Jewish Day School?
I love a lot of things about Pardes but there are two things that I love the most. I love the friendships that you make and how I get to learn about my Jewish history surrounded by people who practice the same religion that I do.
What is one word that best describes Pardes?
The one word that I think best describes the school is memorable. I chose this word because almost all of my best memories come from Pardes and I know that when I go to high school and beyond, I will always remember the great education, friendships, and memories that Pardes gave me.
What has been one of your favorite experiences at Pardes?
One of my favorite experiences at Pardes was the fifth grade overnight trip. We went to Walnut Canyon and the Grand Canyon and then we slept at Camp Stein, a summer camp. It was really, really fun and I also think that it was really great bonding experience because I got to learn a lot more about my classmates. It was really cool to experience one of the world’s greatest natural landmarks together. It was also a trip with a lot of laughs, especially when we were on the bus. I definitely think that this was an experience that I will remember for a long, long time.
In what ways do you think Pardes Jewish Day School is preparing you for high school?
I think that Pardes is definitely preparing me for high school. Pardes, so far, has given me a great education, taught me life skills, taught me how to work well in groups and has helped me to become a strong, courageous person.
What would you tell a friend who is thinking about attending Pardes?
I would tell a friend that he or she will never regret coming to Pardes and won’t ever want to leave. It is a place where you will feel safe and welcomed, and a place where you can really embrace who you are and people love you for it. It’s a place where you can get a great education but still have fun, and you can get so many amazing opportunities when you are at Pardes. For example, you can apply for the National Junior Honor Society or run for Student Council. You will also create so many wonderful memories at Pardes. One more thing that I would tell my friend is that every single person at Pardes including teacher, students, the administration, and everyone else always wants the best for you and wants you to succeed. I would also just say that Pardes is the best school ever.
