The Mandelbaum Family
What do you love most about Pardes?
We love the warm, welcoming community at Pardes and the dedicated Pardes faculty who provide a nurturing learning environment and invest in their students.
Why did you choose Pardes for your child(ren)?
We were looking for a school that has small class size, excellent secular studies and a Jewish social environment.
In what ways have you seen your child(ren) grow and develop as a result of their experience at Pardes?
Both of our children experienced tremendous growth–both academically and emotionally. By the end of 8th grade, Jacob had a true sense of self-confidence, which helped his transition into high school. Our children have had many opportunities at Pardes that added to their overall development including sports, student government, STEAM and community service.
Describe how your child(ren) benefits from the secular academic classes, learning the Hebrew language and Jewish studies at Pardes?
Pardes provides rigorous secular studies that fosters independence and critical thinking. The enriched Jewish studies and Hebrew curriculum is intertwined into all aspects of their learning and lives. Through ongoing professional development, our teachers implement the latest advancements in education and technology.
What would you say to a prospective family who is considering Pardes for their child(ren)?
Pardes is a family….this welcoming community cannot be found at any other school. If a family is looking for a nurturing, caring environment that challenges children to be the best version of themselves, then look no further than Pardes.
Is there anything else you would like to share about your family’s experience at Pardes?
We have been part of the Pardes community for the past 11 years and it was the best decision we made for our children and our family.
