About Pardes

    • Page Banner

At Pardes Jewish Day School, we prepare students for a dynamic future by teaching them to think critically, solve complex problems, collaborate effectively, and lead with purpose. Our inclusive community welcomes students of diverse backgrounds, fostering respect, empathy, and a strong sense of belonging.
We integrate rigorous general and Judaic studies with an intentional character development program. Students are empowered to make thoughtful, values-driven choices grounded in integrity, compassion, and responsibility.

Our interdisciplinary curriculum is enriched through Project-Based Learning, where students explore real-world challenges through research, writing, oral presentation, and Jewish values. Programs like CKLA Amplify, Beast Academy, and Responsive Classroom build strong literacy, math reasoning, and emotional intelligence.

Experiential learning—including field trips and service projects rooted in tikkun olam—connects classroom learning to the broader world.
Beyond academics, student life nurtures the whole child. Our 18 competitive sports teams, for students as young as fourth grade, promote healthy competition and leadership. Our Performing Arts, Instrumental, and Choral programs cultivate creativity, communication skills, collaboration, and critical thinking.
For more than three decades, Pardes has been grounded in Torah, tradition, and community, inspiring a love of learning and a deep commitment to others. Our students grow into thinkers, leaders, and changemakers—ready not only to succeed in the world, but transform it.

Maximizing Each Child’s Potential

At Pardes, we’ve designed a student experience and environment that fosters a love of learning, an insatiable curiosity, and a desire to creatively problem solve. Through a focus on Project-Based Learning, our Responsive Classroom model, and an emphasis on STEM/STEAM, students in Transitional Kindergarten through Eighth Grade are able to better engage with a challenging curriculum as they learn by doing, all while improving their critical thinking skills, collaboration, communication, and empathy. Student confidence is strengthened while interests are explored through athletics, performing arts, and leadership roles in community service projects, Student Council, Chief Science Officer, and Student Ambassadors. We accommodate different learning styles and gives students the autonomy to choose what works best for them. We offer Learning Support, High Achieving-High Ability and Honors Programs.

Jewish Life & Learning

At Pardes, Jewish life isn't just a subject; it's woven into the very fabric of our school experience. Beyond Hebrew and Jewish studies classes, our students are immersed in Jewish values, rituals, language, and culture throughout their day, fostering a deep and meaningful connection to their heritage. Rituals and traditions such as Tefillah, Kabbalat Shabbat, as well as holiday celebrations and Tolkien Olam Mitzvah Days helping others, are incorporated into the student experience.

  • How We Partner with Families

Pardes families enjoy a strong relationship with the school through open, consistent communication, ensuring parents are always in the know. If you’re a Pardes parent and you’re interested in dedicating your time and talents to the school, please consider joining Kesher, our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Kesher connects parents, teachers, administrators, and staff, by building community and supporting the school. From helping coordinate parent and family social programming, service projects, Jewish holiday events, or staff appreciation gifts, Kesher plays an important role in our community.
  • Where to Find Us

Our campus is part of the Ina Levine Jewish Community Campus in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our partnership with the JCC means Pardes students have a place to engage in activities after school beyond the programs we offer, giving parents more options. Middle school students can purchase teen JCC memberships, giving them a safe place to hang out with friends after school. Club J is available for structured after-school programming.
