Lower Schoolers Share Art Pieces in School Art Show

May 2021- Reflection and celebration through exhibition is an important aspect of learning. Pardes students in kindergarten through fourth grade had the special opportunity to select a piece from their art portfolio to display in this year’s Lower School Art Show.

Art teacher Hannah Carter met with each student to review their art portfolio from the entire year and discussed which pieces most stood out to them. Students then each chose one piece that was mounted and displayed. Pieces reflected the various art mediums incorporated into art class over the course of the year. Additionally, both kindergarten and first grade created beautiful grade level pieces that were also displayed.

School safety protocols in place due to the pandemic limited the art show attendees to students and faculty visiting it over the course of the school week. Additionally, we created a video tour led by Mrs. Carter so that our Pardes parents could join us virtually.
