Athletics

Welcome to the Home of the Panthers!

At Pardes Jewish Day School we strive to provide athletes with the opportunity to grow mentally, physically and emotionally through athletic participation. We focus on teaching our athletes to implement the fundamentals and skills necessary to execute what is being taught on the field and relate game situations into real life situations. Personal traits of commitment, integrity, team cooperation, leadership, and sportsmanship are all emphasized. It is our goal to provide a fun-filled and challenging atmosphere that is conducive to the overall athletic experience. Pardes competes in the Mountain Valley Athletic League, which is comprised of area independent schools. The athletic program offers choices for male students to compete in football, basketball, soccer, and tennis. Our female student-athletes may compete in volleyball, basketball, soccer, and tennis.

We believe that athletics should be offered to all fifth through eighth-grade students with a no-cut policy. We allow the fourth-grade students to practice with our teams with the thought of building a strong foundation of mechanics, game knowledge and school spirit.
