Kesher Supports Jewish Family and Children’s Service Holiday Gift Drive

November 30 – Kesher, Pardes Jewish Day School’s parent organization, continues its efforts to support those in need in our local community. After a successful virtual Thanksgiving Food Drive, they have now turned their efforts to making the holidays special for several families and teens in need. The It’s a Wrap Drive, which is coordinated by the Jewish Family and Children’s Service, is an easy and wonderful way for students and families to help bring joy to others during the holiday season. Many of the gifts requested are gift cards for groceries, gas and restaurants as well as clothing and shoes.

Typically gifts would be dropped off to the school; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they are being dropped off outside a Kesher member’s home. Drop off is contactless and easy.

Kesher is still in need of several gifts to be purchased, and many are gift cards that can easily be purchased at the supermarket. Students, families, grandparents and friends of Pardes are encouraged to participate.

The drop-off location (Tatum and Shea area) will be emailed after signing up for a donation. Unwrapped gifts need to be delivered by Thursday, December 3rd.
